Sandja Brügmann is founder & CEO of Refresh Agency, a communications company with purpose and vision to drive thriving business through strategic business development, corporate and consumer communication and conscious leadership development. Refresh Agency has offices in Boulder, CO, USA and Copenhagen, Denmark.

A Dean’s List scholar at University of Colorado, Boulder, majoring in Psychology, Sandja served as Marketing Manager for leading mind/body health and wellness $110M multi-channel lifestyle company Gaiam, Inc., (NASDQ: GAIA), before launching Refresh Agency in Boulder, CO, USA in 2002.
Refresh Agency’s first client was Boulder-based Crocs, Inc (NASDQ: CROX). During Sandja’s tenure, Crocs grew from an 8-person start up to an industry giant culminating in the largest IPO in the history of the footwear industry raising US$208 million.
In 2011, a second Refresh Agency office was opened in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In 2015, The Passion Institute was launched, serving business executives, modern entrepreneurs and academic institutions through conscious leadership training and business advisory founded on the 5Ps: Passion, Purpose, People, Planet and Profits.
Sandja serves as an External Lecturer at University of Colorado Boulder’s Master of the Environment program (MEnv) teaching conscious transformational leadership.

Public Relations & Branding Manager – USA
Annie Lake is a talented storytelling enthusiast with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for public relations, content creation and brand strategy, among other creative outlets. Annie has worked with focused attention on brands and companies that align with her sustainability, social good, health and wellness values such as So Delicious, Nisolo, Munk Pack, Smashburger, Chinook Seedery.
As a Colorado native, she grew up loving the mountains and the beautiful outdoors, and to this day, can still be found taking in all that the Mile High City of Denver has to offer. When she’s not busy concocting new ideas, stories and strategies, she can be found on her yoga mat, spending time with her loved ones and attempting to quench her insatiable thirst for travel and worldly adventures.
Strategic Content Marketing & Public Relations Director – USA
Jean Weiss is an award-winning journalist with advanced credentials in content strategy and public relations. Jean directs and produces high-quality print, digital, and social programs for target stakeholders, including event capture, webinars, internal and external newsletters, reports, and consumer print and digital content. She is especially adept at developing and implementing marketing and public relations strategies and materials, managing press relations, and converting media pitches into on-message published stories.
Jean has collaborated with numerous consumer and trade publications, including Shape, Self, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Oprah, Elephant Journal, Yoga Journal, Vegetarian Times, Backpacker, Outside, Health Monitor Network, Mother Earth News, Forbes, MSN.com, and many others. Jean enjoys an active and mindful lifestyle from her home in Boulder, Colorado.
Marketing & Public Relations Director – Nordic Region
Christina Terry is a seasoned Public Relations specialist, strategic communications expert, experienced copywriter and media relations professional with a strong record building long-term press relations on all media platforms – digital, print, newspaper, social media, broadcast and radio – focused on the Nordic and Scandinavian markets. She is a creative force who thrives when writing and developing new concepts that bring added value to her clients as well as the end consumers. Christina has extensive expertise as an editor, translator (English to Danish), and has ghostwritten books for one of Scandinavia’s leading international best selling health gurus Thorbjörg Hafsteinsdottir and for the architect behind one of the world’s most innovative musical festivals Roskilde Festival.
Christina is particularly passionate about the relations part of PR, healthy food and everything driving a healthy and mindful lifestyle. Her portfolio focuses on sustainability and healthy living in the Nordics including clients as diverse as the Chilean Association of Hass Avocado farmers to the Unilever food Brands.
Public Relations & Branding Specialist – Denmark
Rikke Kamstrup Jacobsen has a strong profile as a Public Relations agent in Denmark with focus on lifestyle, health, food, fashion and beauty. Strong media relations, brand strategy and high relational, emotional intelligence skills are part of her greatest strengths. Rikke brings more than 10 years of executive and hands-on experience in the PR industry, where she has serviced both large international brands and small Danish and foreign brands including Change, Pukka, New Balance, Pieszak, Rodtnes, Naledi, Cashott, Depeche, Dulong Fine Jewelry, REDGREEN, Mind of Line, Clearspring, Trilogy, Benecos, by KlipKlap and Coco Juice to mention some.

Thordis Bjartmarz is an organization and leadership analyst with focusing on CSR, sustainability, communication and leadership development. She has a Cand.Merc in Strategy, Organization and Leadership and a B.Sc in Business Administration with focus on international business and marketing.
Thordis has an in-depth expertise in understanding organizational processes, story-telling and CSR strategies and implementation, as well as communication and social media management. She enjoys knowledge around Leadership and Sustainability and has written articles for CSRIceland, CSRjournal and Nordic Startupbits as well as having published two chapters on CSR in a SAGE education publication.
Communication & Public Relations Expert – Nordic Region
Christian Laustrup Møller is an experienced journalist and a copywriter, working within food and lifestyle for more than 7 years. He has worked with campaigns, copywriting, PR and content marketing for brands such as Lagkagehuset, Hotel D´Angletere, Cofoco, Diageo, Tiger Beer, Sticks and Sushi, Egmont Media, Il fornaio and SOS Sportswear.
For the last 5 years Christian has been the editor-in-chief for the Danish food magazine Copenhagen Food, working with both regular journalism and advertorials, as well as strategic content marketing for brands as San Pellegrino, Dining Week, Kay Bojesen, Pillivuyt, Maldon, Nespresso and Torvehallerne.
Christian brings solid and long-term press relations on media platforms such as digital, print, newspaper, radio, TV and social media. Christian is also the editor of several cooking and lifestyle books.
